Who this policy is for

This policy applies to anyone who visits jennybrady.co.uk, contacts me through the site, or becomes a coaching client of Jenny Brady Coaching ("I", "me", "my"). I am the data controller for the personal data described here. If you have any questions, please email jenny@jennybrady.co.uk .

What data I collect

I only collect data that I actually need:

  • Website analytics: aggregate, anonymised visit data via a privacy-friendly analytics tool. No cookies, no personal identifiers.
  • Contact form submissions: the name, email address, and message you choose to send me.
  • Coaching client records: notes I take during our sessions, your preferred contact details, and invoicing information if you become a paying client.

I don't collect anything by hidden means, and I don't use trackers or third-party advertising cookies.

How I use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange an initial conversation.
  • To deliver coaching if you become a client, including scheduling sessions and sending session notes if you've asked for them.
  • To issue invoices and keep the records the law requires me to keep.

I will never sell your data, share it with marketers, or use it to advertise to you.

How long I keep it

  • Enquiries that don't become clients: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client records: for the duration of our coaching relationship and for seven years afterwards, as required for tax and professional record-keeping. You can ask for specific session notes to be deleted at any time.
  • Website analytics: aggregated only, no individual records retained beyond 24 months.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Delete your data (with some exceptions where I'm legally required to keep it)
  • Object to processing, or restrict how I use your data
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe I've mishandled your data

To exercise any of these rights, email me at jenny@jennybrady.co.uk and I'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Contact form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Client records are stored on encrypted, password-protected devices and in reputable cloud services with two-factor authentication enabled. I don't store financial data beyond what's required for invoicing.

Updates to this policy

I'll post any changes here with a revised "last updated" date. If the change is significant and affects existing clients, I'll email you as well.
