Hi, I'm Jenny.
A thinking partner for thoughtful people navigating change, growth and important decisions in their professional lives.

Whether you're considering a career move, adapting to a new leadership role, facing a professional challenge, or simply sensing that something needs to change, I'll help you think clearly, make good choices and move forward with confidence.
Over the last twenty years, I've worked with business owners, senior leaders, founders, researchers and professionals from all sorts of backgrounds. On the surface, their situations have looked very different, but they've often been wrestling with similar questions:
What's next?
How do I make this decision?
How do I lead well without losing myself in the process?
How do I build a career, business or life that feels right for me?
I've learned that meaningful change rarely comes from finding the perfect answer. More often, it comes from having the time and space to think clearly, understand what's really important, and make choices that fit who you are.
That's where I come in.
Whether you're navigating growth, stepping into leadership, facing a crossroads, or simply feeling stuck, I'll help you untangle the noise, gain clarity, build confidence and move forward in a way that feels purposeful and sustainable.
I love helping people reconnect with what matters most to them, so they can create success on their own terms, not somebody else's.
A bit about my background
For more than twenty years, I've worked with people who are trying to make important things happen.
Some have been at the very start of their journey: PhD researchers finding their feet, professionals stepping into a new role, or people wondering whether it's time for a change. Others have been experienced leaders, business owners, founders and independent research leaders carrying significant responsibility and navigating complex decisions.
Along the way, I've worked across universities, businesses, charities and public sector organisations, supporting researchers, managers, business owners and professionals as they've stepped into bigger roles, changed direction, built new ventures and worked out what comes next.
What I've learned is that no matter how successful someone appears on paper, they still face moments of uncertainty, self-doubt, difficult decisions and competing priorities. The questions change, but the challenge of working out what's next never really goes away.
I also run my own businesses, so I understand the realities of balancing ambition with wellbeing, growth with sustainability and success with the rest of life. I don't believe you should have to sacrifice yourself to achieve something meaningful.
That's one of the reasons I love coaching. It's a chance to slow down, think clearly and make choices that feel right for you.
Where I work
Most of my coaching takes place online via Zoom, which means I can work with people wherever they happen to be. Most of my clients are based across the UK, although I've also worked with people across the world. As long as we can find a time that works for both of us, location is rarely a barrier.
If you're local to the North East, we also have other options. We can meet in person at my private office on the coast, or, when the weather is kind, take our conversation outdoors for a walking coaching session.
Most people choose to work online and are often surprised by how natural, focused and effective it feels. What's most important isn't where we meet, but having the time and space to think clearly about what matters to you.
Muddy boots and big ideas
A lot of my best thinking happens outdoors.
When I'm not working, you'll often find me by the sea, walking in the woods, or at my allotment with muddy boots and plans that are usually bigger than the space available. I love growing things, watching things develop over time and accepting that Mother Nature is the boss!
Imagine approaching your work with renewed confidence and clarity
Whether you're leading, building, growing or rethinking something, coaching can help you untangle challenges, think more clearly and take meaningful action in a way that feels sustainable and relevant to you.
